Membership in the Peoria-Area Amateur Radio Club is open to all amateurs and interested parties. We offer four classes of membership to fit the needs of all amateurs and their families.
Voting Membership:is open to all persons who hold an amateur radio license. Annual dues for the full membership are $25.00 per calendar year. For those under 18 years of age or over 65 years of age, the cost $20.00 . The term of membership is the same.
Family Voting Membership:is especially desirable for those multi-ham families. The first member is charged the full price of $25.00, with each additional family member charged $15.00. The privileges for each member under the family plan is the same as if they were individual full members.
Non-Voting Membership:is for those amateurs who do not reside in the Central Illinois area, desire limited participation in club activities, or are interested parties who do not hold amateur radio licenses. Each associate member is charged $10.00 per year in dues. Some privileges are limited under the non-voting member plan.
Honorary Life Memberships:are free and awarded to persons who have been members in good standing for 10 years or more, and are recommended to the general membership by the Board of Directors.
Dues for PAARC membership are payable anytime between January 1 and March 1 of a calendar year. Following March 1, members who have not renewed will be dropped from the roster.

The Peoria Area Amateur Radio Club meets on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM at the American Red Cross Chapter House on Third Street in Downtown Peoria. We will have a map of downtown Peoria available on here soon. In the meantime, if you need help finding the building, call any club member on the 147.075 repeater. They will be glad to give you directions.
The Board of Directors meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Red Cross. For more information regarding the Board or special committees, contact any of the officers via e-mail, or use the club’s phone system at (309) 692-FEST.
