Special Raffle Prize  - Donated by Rohn Tower, Peoria IL –  A 30’ Rohn  25 tower will be raffled off.  Donations will be used to support the Wayne A. Downing Home for Veterans, Peoria, IL

Note:  The winner will have to pick the tower up at Superfest.

2014 Forums….all forums will take place in the Amren-Cilco building.

8:30AM-9:30AM  Tom Cicioria will discuss the HR4969 bill.  In June, 2014 with Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) as the sponsor and Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-2) as co-sponsor, HR 4969 – the “Amateur Radio Parity Act of 2014″ - was introduced into the 113th Congress.  This bipartisan effort would direct the FCC to extend the “reasonable accommodation” provisions for Amateur Radio antennas to include all types of land-use regulation, including deed restrictions and restrictive covenants.

10:00AM-11:00 AM Panel discussion on the new Yaesu Fusion Repeater system.  Chris Wilson, National Sales Director for Yaesu Amateur Radio Products will be here as well as 4 current Fusion Repeater Owners to discuss implementation experiences.

Amateur Radio License Testing

Testing will begin at 11:30 AM Saturday Sept 21, in the Photography Building

Bring your original Radio License (if any) and a copy, and the original and a copy of any of any Certificate of Completion (CSCE) not already acted upon by the FCC. Copies are needed to send with your license application. Fee for 2013 is $15.00. You will also need identification such as a Driver’s License, a picture ID or school ID.
